Sculptural and expressive, its shapes have reminiscences of the sand dunes not just as a superficial way of shaping it but as an inspiration to recreate the forms of the desert to hold dates in a large concavity and a small one for their pits. The ergonomic aspects of the bowl make it easy to carry, light, smooth in the finishing; using only handcraft means to carve it out, hand sanded and natural mineral oil as a final coat.
